We greatly appreciated the opportunity to dive deeper into our approach to removing the inactive lead cables from Lake Tahoe. We have officially kicked off the permitting process!
Established in 1969, TRPA was the national’s first bi-state regional environmental planning agency. Their vision of a lake environment that is “sustainable, healthy and safe for the community and future generations” resonates and aligns with our mission. TRPA has been a tremendous steward of Lake Tahoe and its water for generations
It was an honor to experience that leadership in person, as we dug into key focus areas of the project including critical environmental considerations, engineering training, project timing, archeological surveys, Tahoe Yellow Cress, eagle nesting and more. This level of detail and diligences provides us with clear follow ups and deliverables as we move through the process
Meetings of this nature are fundamental to our community effort to engage and collaborate with government entities. We’re grateful for the time of public entities to evaluate and guide our efforts towards the appropriate outcome
